On May 27, a 10-level gale hit more than 3,000 mu of cotton in three agricultural companies of the 86th construction corporation, in Xinjiang.
Reportedly, by about 2 o'clock in the afternoon, the gale blowing around the foothills of the companies had done severe damage to the cotton plants.
Immediately after the wind, relevant departments deducted spot investigation to learn and collect damage information.
They made careful registration and reported the damage to insurance company. The three farms will also take timely remedial measures.
