Shaoxing undertakes on-spot inspection of Indian cotton

Recently, the Administration of Shaoxing Inspection and Quarantine Bureau first accepted the commission admissibility of two batches of Indian cotton imports.

These two batches of Indian cotton imports are 1,800 bales /291.831 tons and 3,000 bale /492.747 tons, in 32 containers in total.

Being charged with the task, Administration gave great attention to the matter. They sent specialized personnel to make on-spot inspection. After eight days of busy work, the Administration found that two lots of Indian cotton were short-weighted, with short-weight rate of 1.53 percent and 1.50 percent, respectively.

Shaoxing will issue relating quality certificate, weight certificate, based on the test results, so as to ensure the smooth completion of this commission.
