In the first half of this year, Central and Eastern provinces of China remained the main import and export areas for cotton yarn.
Shandong, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Liaoning, Fujian and Hubei province, and Shanghai city, together shipped 278,000 tons of cotton yarn, accounting for 95.5 percent of country's total export quantity.
The growth of Fujian cotton yarn export was 167.35 percent and that of Liaoning was 76.25 percent.
However, the cotton yarn export of Shandong, Jiangsu and Shanghai dropped 0.73, 14.4 and 44.53 percent, respectively.
