Cotton prices seem to have taken up new trend as they have been sliding for 2-3 weeks.
According to Karachi Cotton Association (KCA), prices dropped to Rs2800 on September 4 from Rs2850 per maund on the previous day.
Even today the rates witnessed similar dip as it was quoted around Rs2775.
Today, Index-A stood at 67.85.
