Qingshanhu Govt promotes textile industry

Textile industry in Qingshanhu area, Nanchang city, developed rapidly due to its proximity to cotton production areas, and Yangtse Delta, Pearl River Delta regions. And thus, Local Government is determined to boost the knitting industry in this region.

So far, there are over 500 knitting clothes enterprises in Qingshanhu area, employing a total of over 30,000 workers. The products are exported to Middle East, Europe, USA and other areas.

According to official statistics, the export value of textile and clothes products made in Qingshanhu area reached more than US $152 million, up 12 percent than the same period of last year.

Remarkably, the export of local T-shirts with particular monograms or specific sayings accounts for one third of the total export of these kinds of T-shirts from China.

Inorder to promote knitting industry, local Government provides allowance to some key enterprises as well as tries to balance cooperation between exporters and customs department and financial organizations.
