Agricenter to host Regional Cotton Pest Management Workshop

IPM Workshop will start on October 31, 2005. The program will be arranged by Agricenter International.

This IPM Workshop is intended to provide formal and hands-on training to agricultural pest management professionals such as independent crop consultants, extension agents, ag-chemical dealers, and other pest management "decision makers".

The target audience are those individuals who routinely make pest management recommendations in the MidSouth. The workshop will address the management of insect pests, weeds and diseases that occur in cotton.

The format will include concurrent but repeating presentations related to these topics. Afternoon sessions will consist of hands-on training related to pest identification, demonstration of sampling techniques, application technology and precision ag technologies.
