Cotton imports continue to decline

In November 2009, China imported 112,900 tons of cotton, a decline by 5,700 tons from October, representing a reduction of 4.8 percent, according to customs statistics.

From January to November, China's total cotton imports registered 1.31 million tons, down 32.6 percent year on year.
