China released 15,018 tons of state cotton reserves on August 30 and all of the released cotton was traded. Weighted transaction price was 17,880 Yuan / ton, 231 Yuan higher than the previous day.
As of August 30, cotton volume released from state cotton reserves to the market totaled to 215,282 tons, of which actual trade volume registered 214,283 tons and in the process achieved 36 percent of the delivery plan.
The average length of all traded cotton was 28.33, weighted average price was 17,816 Yuan / ton, and when converted in to price of grade 328, the average transaction price was 18,124 Yuan / ton (net weight).
