The Karachi Cotton Association (KCA) spot cotton rate remained stable at Rs 11,800 per maund while physical prices remained strong on the back of fine lint growing demand above Rs 13,500 per maund.
The leading spinning mills in Punjab bought fine stocks at competitive prices while buyers in Sindh kept away from active buying due to the high prices.
Meanwhile, the NY cotton March futures remained under some correction and stood at 181.28 cents per pound and May futures also closed near 177.23 cents per pound.
