Chinese cotton imports plunge in April

China's cotton imports registered 210,453 tons in April, down 35 percent year on year, according to Chinese customs data.

From January to April 2011, total Chinese cotton imports reached 1.06 million tons, a fall of 9.01 percent year on year.
