According to weekly export sales report of US Department of Agriculture (USDA), the export sales were primarily for Vietnam (119,200 RB, including decreases of 1,500 RB), Bangladesh (40,200 RB, including decreases of 2,300 RB), Türkiye (20,700 RB), Pakistan (15,600 RB, including 1,100 RB switched from Vietnam), and Mexico (14,100 RB), which were offset by reductions for Thailand (300 RB).
Total net sales of 1,100 RB for next marketing year 2026-27 were for Japan.
For the week under review, the export shipments of 142,600 RB were primarily to Vietnam (34,800 RB), Pakistan (26,200 RB), Türkiye (19,300 RB), Mexico (9,300 RB), and Bangladesh (9,000 RB).
During the marketing year 2024-25 that ended on July 31, accumulated export shipments were 11,191,200 RB, which was 1 per cent up from the shipment of 11,070,400 RB in the preceding marketing year.
Net sales of Pima totalling 2,100 RB for 2025-26 primarily for India (2,400 RB), Türkiye (300 RB), South Korea (300 RB), Bangladesh (300 RB), and Guatemala (100 RB), were offset by reductions for China (1,300 RB).
Export shipments (Pima) of 12,000 RB were primarily to Pakistan (2,700 RB), Vietnam (2,500 RB), India (2,300 RB), Costa Rica (900 RB), and Egypt (900 RB).
Accumulated export shipments of Pima cotton during the last marketing year were 435,000 RB, 35 per cent up from 321,800 RB in the preceding year.
