Beasha said Jordanian Government inspectors monitor working conditions in factories but several guest workers said factory managers coaxed workers to lie.
Mohammed Saiful Islam, 30, Production Manager at Western Garment, said several times workers had to work until 4 am and sleep on factory's floor for a few hours, before resuming work at 8 am.
Keck, Wal-Mart spokeswoman said company inspectors recently identified "serious violations" of its labor rules at three Jordanian factories.
Joele Frank, a spokeswoman for Jones Apparel, said the company had also found "serious problems" at the Ivory Garment Factory, which produces Gloria Vanderbilt clothing
A spokesman for Sears Holding, said company was investigating potential problems at Honorway, which produces clothes for Kmart, a division of Sears Holding.
On investigative journalism carried out by The New York Times about the accusations on Monday, Wal-Mart then dispatched two inspectors to Jordan on a fact finding mission.
