Isko, a company of Sanko holding and leading worldwide manufacturer of denim, with a wide range of innovative fabric technologies, recently ended the "Injeanious", the Isko event aimed at new innovations in textiles for the future, in Düsseldorf, Germany, on November 17, 2016, on a successful note. The event media partner was Sportswear International.

The event was dedicated to international product managers, designers, retailers, fashion "godfathers" and influencers; it opened the doors to Lofthaus, a charming venue to spotlight innovation in, with new and inspirational points of view.

Idea sharing and cross-fertilisation were the keywords of this interesting day of seminars and discussions, bringing together different experiences and scenarios to analyse the impact of innovation in different industries through keynote speeches, a round-table discussion and - most of all - networking. An inspiring panel's exhibition accompanied guests along an imaginative path that has explored a selection of innovations that disrupted and changed history. Isko denim innovation platforms expressed different lifestyles, predicting market needs and looks.

The first keynote speech was given by Olaf Gerwig, co-founder and managing director at P3 Communications on the topic "Innovation + Communication: the Telco case history."

The second keynote speech titled "Innovation + Digital: cross-field inspirations from Augmented Reality" was given by Luciano Pinna, conceptual artist, augmented reality expert, former physicist.

The third keynote speech "Innovation + Sustainability: Rethink or die" was given by Michael Schragger, CEO of The Sustainable Fashion Academy and chair of The Global Leadership Award in Sustainable Apparel (GLASA).

The fourth keynote speech "Innovation + Denim: peering past the new frontiers of style and performance" was given by Esin Kiliçkan, R&D manager Isko.

Round table discussion on "Innovation + Fashion: challenges for a "hungry and foolish" future" was conducted by panellists Francois Girbaud, founder and owner of Marithé + François Girbaud, Marco Lucietti, global marketing director Sanko/Isko division, Dirk Lehmann, publishing director and sales director Sportswear International, and Markus Hefter, ISPO exhibition group director.
