The high end UK-based department store chain Selfridges has roped in the London Fashion Week (LFW) rising star Ashley Williams to create a limited edition capsule collection to mark the first anniversary of its jeanswear-only segment Denim Studio.

Slated to be available for sale from August 14, 2014 onwards, the range will include some eight re-created pieces from the British designer’s debut A/W 2013 show, which was staged as part of LFW’s young designers’ supporting platform Fashion East.

Inspired from Vintage Americana, the line will feature some essentially Texan style detailing, including fringing and motifs of marabou, dancing cowgirls and horse heads.

Ashley, who is soon going to release her first-ever collection under her namesake label in September, 2014, had showcased sequined knits, kitten print slip dresses paired with metallic bonnets, dungarees and quirky slogan written pieces at the February, 2014 edition of LFW.

The Denim Studio offers an array of denimwear from over 60 brands, including J Brand, Lee, 7 For All Mankind, Free People, Victoria Beckham and Diesel. The studio’s staff includes on-site women’s denim experts and tailors.

Headquartered in London, Selfridges was founded in the year 1909.
