Amazon has now started adding a styling service to its Prime Wardrobe apparel box offering that offers personalised recommendations to Prime members at $5 a month. The facility was launched with women's apparel, but could be offered for men's apparel as well in future. The service is like the one offered by Stitch Fix, a US online personal styling service.

Called ‘Personal Shopper by Prime Wardrobe’, it offers recommendations based on technology and human stylists from fashion, retail, editorial, styling and creative fields, according to a dedicated webpage for the service.

Amazon's styling service is priced lower than Stitch Fix, which charges a $20 styling fee with its service.

Personal Shopper by Prime Wardrobe allows customers to enjoy all the benefits they have been enjoying from Prime Wardrobe with personal shopping support, including personal styling from over half a million items across thousands of brands, with the ability to preview picks before they ship; try-before-you-buy for up to seven days; only pay for what you keep; and free shipping.
