These were discussed at a meeting between the ministry of commerce and the information and communication technology (ICT) division officials to analyse the progress of various platforms to facilitate and ensure transparency in e-commerce operations.
ICT state minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak said all digital commerce operators in the country must register themselves with the government using UBID.
With the technical support of the ICT division, the ministry is developing the digital platforms.
The grievances filed by consumers against any registered business will be settled through CCMS, and a central logistics tracking platform (CLTP) will be launched later, according to Bangla media reports.
