China registered online retail sales worth 14 trillion yuan ($1.92 trillion) in the first 11 months this year—up by 7.4 per cent year on year (YoY), according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

Among those, sales of physical commodities grew by 6.8 per cent YoY during the period.

Ministry of commerce data show sales of industrial e-commerce platforms with a scale above 10 billion yuan rose steadily in the January-November period, a state-controlled media outlet reported.

China has held several promotional events this year to help Silk Road e-commerce partner countries participate in its market.
