Indian fashion retailer Myntra will soon sell its in-house brands in the US market through its parent company Walmart. Myntra already sells its private labels online on Walmart Canada. Walmart is planning to sell Myntra brands at its stores as well as online in the United States, according to a very senior executive of Walmart International.

Myntra’s private labels include Roadster, HRX, House of Pataudi and All About You.

The company also anticipates launching Myntra brands in its stores in Canada in the third quarter of this year, the senior Walmart executive told an Indian business daily.

Walmart, which acquired a 77 per cent controlling stake in Flipkart and its subsidiary Myntra last summer, is using its investment to tap into the Indian retailer’s global potential by expanding its international presence. (DS)
