Dutch CPI inflation rate minus 0.4% in Oct 2023: CBS flash estimate

The CPI-based inflation rate in the Netherlands in October was minus *.* per cent, a flash estimate by Statistics Netherlands showed.
Excluding energy, inflation was *.* per cent in the month.
In September, consumer goods and services were *.* per cent more expensive year on year.
Consumer prices were *.* per cent higher in October compared to September.

In September, consumer goods and services were *.* per cent more expensive year on year (YoY).

The negative inflation in October is entirely due to the fact that energy prices were extremely high in October last year, CBS said in a release.
