Dutch GDP volume falls 0.2% QoQ in Q3 2023, exports dip 1.6% QoQ

The Netherlands' GDP volume fell by *.* per cent quarter on quarter (QoQ) in the third quarter this year, according to the first quarterly estimate by Statistics Netherlands.
This is the third consecutive quarter with contraction.
Exports of goods and services fell by *.* per cent QoQ during the quarter, while such imports fell more rapidly at *.* per cent.

This is the third consecutive quarter with contraction. In Q* and Q* this year, GDP fell by *.* per cent and *.* per cent respectively.

The contraction in Q* can mainly be attributed to declining investments in fixed assets and a decline in inventory changes, CBS said in a release.
