In comparison, annual inflation stood at 47.09 per cent in 2024 and 61.98 per cent in November 2023, bringing the current rate to its lowest level in four years.
Monthly inflation also eased, with the consumer price index (CPI) showing a slowdown compared with the 32.87 per cent annual rate recorded in October.
In the clothing and footwear category, prices increased 8.99 per cent year on year, contributing 0.66 points to the annual inflation rate. On a monthly basis, the category rose 0.68 per cent, adding 0.04 points to the overall CPI in November, Turkstat said in a release.
Price monitoring across 143 basic Classification of Individual Consumption According to Purpose (COICOP) headings revealed broad-based increases: 108 categories rose, 28 fell, and 7 remained unchanged, underscoring continued upward movement across most consumer goods and services.
