Pakistan has released Rs 65.4 million for the statistics and textile industry divisions under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP 2018-19), according to the latest data released by the ministry of planning, development and reforms. For the textile industry division’s Faisalabad Garment City Training Centre project, Rs 12.6 million was released.

The Planning Commission of Pakistan releases 20 per cent of development funds during the first quarter, i.e., July-September. In the second quarter, another 20 per cent is released. The third and fourth quarters each see release of 30 per cent of the funds. (DS)
