In a bid to promote eco-friendly products, students of Manipal Institute of Communication (MIC) are going to organise 'Namma Angadi', an exhibition-cum-sale of 'Namma Bhoomi' products, on April 1 and 2, at Nehru Memorial Library.

The sale will include eco-friendly products like handmade cotton kurtas for men and women, dress materials, dupattas, bags, ethnic terracotta jewellery and handicrafts made of bamboo and wood.

All the profits of 'Namma Angadi' will go to the 'Namma Bhoomi' fund to be used for the uplift of working children.

Namma Bhoomi is a vocational training branch of the NGO, 'Concerned for Working Children' (CWC), Bangalore.

It gives vocational training like weaving, tailoring, pottery and other art forms to underprivileged children.
