"The main aim of the e-portal is to sell 200 elite brands of Pashmina products throughout the world. We have introduced Pashmina blazers, trousers, shirts, handkerchiefs, mufflers and other items," CEO of PHAMB business house Junaid Shahdar said at the launch.
The portal, www.phamb.co.in was launched by Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Asgar Hussain Samoon.
Samoon stressed the need for maintaining the product quality and bringing packaging at par with international standards so Kashmiri Pashmina products have greater acceptability globally.
"Our youth have to come up with creative and novel ideas so that the handicraft industry of the state gets recognition across the world," he said. (SH)
