Fire destroys garment & fabrics at factory

Yesterday, fire took place at garment factory Panchabati of Fatullah in Narayanganj.
Fire engulfed 250 thousand pieces of readymade garments and huge amount of fabrics were destroyed.
Fire erupted at 8:00 am in finishing section on the first floor of the three-storey factory of Majumder Group.
Nine fire-fighting units were engaged to douse the fire. Till now, no worker is reported to be injured, but, four workers fainted because of smoke.
Electric short circuit seems to be the cause for originating the fire.
