Nantong to build Asia's largest non-woven fabrics base

Recently, Toray high-tech polymerization (Nantong) Ltd. laid its foundation in Nantong Economic and Technological Development Zone. This is the first major project to start construction in Nantong Development Zone after the Spring Festival.

Toray high-tech polymerization (Nantong) Ltd. was established in November 2006, with a total investment of nearly US $50 million from Toray (Korea), Toray (Japan) and Toray (China). The project will cover 95,467 square meters.

The enterprise will produce polypropylene spunbond non-woven fabrics, and will be committed to the investment in developing cutting-edge technology and products.

It is reported that the project will be completed in July this year, and is expected to start operation by the end of the year.

The project will build Asia's largest base of non-woven fabrics.
