Korean fabrics have been enjoying huge demand in Chinese market. In 2006, China imported US $2.575 billion worth of Korean fabric.

In recent years, the demand of Chinese clothing enterprises for fabric has increased, especially that for top-grade materials.

Korean fabric enterprises have not only raised the investment, here, but also have set up production bases in China. Most of these fabric manufacturers are targeting high-end fabric market.

When it comes to low-grade fabric, Chinese productivity is strong. However, in functional and design fabric sectors, Korean industry is much advanced.

Thus, experts suggest that Chinese fabric manufacturers invest more in developing new innovative and technological products.
