According to the latest data from Textile Industry Association center, the cumulative output of China's nonwoven fabric in the first half of 2007 reached 288,400 tons, up 34.20 percent over the same period of last year.
Among major provinces, Zhejiang's output of nonwoven fabrics reached 70,773 tons from January to June, increasing 24.18 percent.
Guangdong Province achieved an output of 40,324 tons, a boost of 39.54 percent.
Jiangsu Province obtained 29,793 tons, showing a year-on-year growth of 24.14 percent.
Henan Province realized 27,688 tons, a rise as high as 1161.13 percent.
Fujian Province registered a total output of 25,716 tons, augmented by 28.75 percent.
China is the highest producer of nonwoven fabrics in Asia.
