As the winter approaches, Chinese markets are getting flooded with suitable fabrics for the season. Clothing manufacturers are hoping for low temperatures during winter so as to perk up their sales.
Among all the fabrics, three materials, namely high-dense nylon taffeta, high-dense polyester pongee and high-dense polyester taffeta, are gaining rapid popularity. These fabrics are mainly used in down-clothing.
High-dense nylon taffeta 300T, 310T series mainly offers simple styles in 160 cm width and light colors. Wholesales price ranges from 5.80 to 6.30 yuan per meter.
High-dense polyester pongee, popularly known as 'Polygee', 290T, 300T series, has many styles, in 160 cm width. This material also boasts characteristics like being waterproof, anti-ultraviolet radiation, soil resistant and so on. Wholesales price ranges from 3.50 to 4.10 yuan per meter.
High-dense polyester taffeta, such as, 300T series, offers several styles. Besides, this year, new variety of superfine polyester taffeta fabric has also been added. Both are selling well in domestic market. Wholesales price ranges around 7-9 yuan per meter.
