According to the latest statistics released by the China Textile Industry Association, national fabric production of large and medium scale enterprises touched 4.622 billion meters in March 2009.
From January to March, national cloth production of these same textile companies reached 11.398 billion meters, a year-on-year decline of 2.51 percent.
