A cord fabric subsidiary of Sabanci Holding plans to hike its turnover from US $850 million achieved last year to $1000 million in the current year.
This was revealed by Hakan Tiftik, CEO - Kordsa Global, the cord fabric subsidiary at a press conference, when informing about their plans for 2011.
Kordsa Global in all operates 10 plants in nine countries and employs 5,000 employees and is the world's leading producer of nylon and polyester yarns, cord fabric, and single end cord.
Kordsa generates 55 percent of its revenue by selling to five large-scale tyre producers across the world.
