Performance textile manufacturer, Ventile, has bagged the award for the best eco performance fabric for the second year in a row at Performance Days 2020, following the success of the Ventile Eco recycled fabric at 2019 Performance Days awards. The Performance Days awards celebrate the latest trends in fabric development for the functional textile industry.
For this year’s competition, Ventile submitted its latest development, Ventile Eco 205 fabric, blend of premium long-staple cotton with hemp fibres. In previous years, Ventile has secured commendation from the jury for their Ventile Eco; a recycled 100 per cent cotton fabric. This year, the brand fought off stiff competition to win in the ‘Eco Performance’ category with their Ventile Eco 205. The latest textile blend brings to the industry a unique combination of 32 per cent premium Hemp fibres with a 68 per cent superior long-staple, organic cotton offering unrivalled breathability and water resistance.
