Designer Anuradha Raman, known for bestowing Indian handlooms with a contemporary and modern look, launched her first collection of silk and cotton stoles for consumers of Indian textiles.

The stoles can be put on by everyone, right from a college-going-girl to a professional woman, and everyone can find a piece for themselves, the designer said in a statement.

The collection embraces a range of hand woven, hand-blocked and hand-embroidered stoles, which easily goes with any Indian outfit. This can be donned over tunics or tops, either as a ‘dupatta’ or simply as wraps.

The designer said it is for the first time that she has used silk and cotton for her stoles, with vibrant colours, which she said are a signature of her style.

Kiran Kher, Bubbles Sabharwal, Brinda Karat, Dolly Thakore and Lushin Dubey are some of the popular names who make it to the designer’s list of clientele.
