Ayesha Depala's surprise package of cat walking on the tune of live quawali took the audience off guard and was perhaps the only saving face in the otherwise an average day at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week.
Her models had worn pale pink, cream and white embroidered and appliqué dresses. Ayesha says her collection was inspired by 1960s. The shorts were good enough to qualify for being worn even in Beverley Hills pool party.
Ayesha is famous for preparing her dresses with delicacy mixed with rich embroidery and this time around as well it was no different. She kept her habit of using cotton, voile and chiffon in the most of her dresses and the use of pale pink, cream and pale peach.
Gauri and Niharika's collections clearly stole the show with memorable and romantic style and elegance. Full length dresses gently moved across and made a leisure effect.
Their collections consisted of cool summer shorts and cropped pants to chiffon and georgette dresses.
'The Garden of Eden' was showcased by Manav Gangwani and the opening made by Ayaan and Amaan Ali Bangash were the attractions of the day.
