Indian Shoe Federation (ISF) has taken a step to create a direct link between manufacturers of components and footwear manufacturers.
They had organized a footwear components and accessories exhibition at Rajah Muthiah Hall, Egmore, Chennai. A total of 72 footwear components manufacturers from all over India participated in this exhibition.
According to the Council of Leather Export, the footwear industry aims to reach a target of $4 billion, within next five years.
There is a huge prospect of employment in the footwear component industry. This will help in enhancing the export opportunity for the footwear industry.
