In 2006, export of hat is expected to surpass $100 million mark, accounting for 21 percent of apparel accessories exports, official sources informed.
In November 2006, exports turnover of hat stood at $9 million, a hike of ten percent over previous month.
During this period, US imported hats worth $3.09 million and accounted for 54.2 percent of total hat export. Exports to Japan, Belgium, Netherlands and France increased by 12.23, 6.65, 5.5 and 5.37 percent, respectively.
