Madhu Datta, Jewellery designer from Delhi and Rinku Datta, fashion designer based in Kolkata and United States, have pooled their talents to create ripples in this season's party fashion scene.

Divided into western wear and Indian wear, the collection is being devised as an elegant mix of Indian and western fashion designs and accessories.

Western designs are affordably priced between Rs 2,500 to Rs 3,000 portraying a dupian silk dress with a raw silk tunic and a south silk jacket decorated with accessory of bone and horn items in jewellery. Tissue shirt with short brocade skirt adorned with silver and zircon pendant complete with little stones in garnet and amethyst is one more attractive western creation.

Indian designs are more elaborate and flaunt a bigger price tag. You can have the choice of a kanjeevaram saree with kantha stitch embroidery or a matka silk suit with kalamkari coat complete with a black onyx on silver jewellery set.
