The traditional Maori art of feathered cloaks which until now used to remain in the closed almirah is now reigning on the shelves of the leading stores in New Zealand.

The iwi's elders used to consider these feathered cloaks as treasured gifts.

The Nelson Company a part of Ngati Koata Trust started producing cloaks and bags after recognizing the potential of these products in the market. This will help to promote the maori art.
