For the first time in more than 60 years, the most extensive sizing study was recently conducted over the course of three years using cutting edge technology to scan 14,000 plus-size women's bodies.
With the assistance of the Intellifit machine, which records over 200,000 data points within ten seconds using low-powered radio waves, Intellifit measured thousands of women to paint a clear and precise picture of how their bodies are shaped.
Based on the new design of hip/waist ratio in the construction of the pants, a woman's typical pant size can be completely different than what she has previously worn thus, a completely new sizing system was born.
Right Fit sizing technology will be available in pant sizes 3 to 12 representing her size number to go along with her new color and customized shape.
Rightfit an interactive website where customers can learn more about the technology behind Right Fit's products, will also include a quick and easy to use sizing calculator to help customers discover her size, shape and color.
The classic career pant with Right Fit sizing technology is available at Catherines in different colors: black, brown, charcoal, navy and pinstripe; and lengths: petite, average and tall.
