She made headlines for her impeccable dressing sense and sophisticated persona during her first diplomatic visit to Moscow back in March 2013, but now China’s First Lady Peng Liyuan has once again grabbed the eyes of fashionistas by making it to the annual International Best-Dressed list of Vanity Fair.

Wife of Chinese President Xi Jinping, the first lady, who also is a renowned Chinese contemporary folk singer and performing artist, has been chosen among the world’s best dressed celebs like Kate Middleton and Beyonce by the New York-based fashion and pop culture magazine.

The 50-year-old lady had first caught the attention of international fashion media on her debut official visit to Moscow where she had elegantly turned up in a navy blue trench coat and turquoise scarf, both designed by Chinese labels.

Published by the famous American publishing house Conde Nast, Vanity Fair’s 2013 list places the pouty American actress Kerry Washington and young fashion icon and singer-songwriter Justin Timberlake on number one and two positions respectively.
