The American fashion design house Kate Spade New York is all set to foray in swimsuits in partnership with another NYC label Swimwear Anywhere.

Slated to be launched sometime in August, 2014 and would hit the stores from November, 2014 onwards, the inaugural 70-piece range will reflect 1950s retro style glamour.

Decorated with stripes, polka dots, prints and gold charms emblazoned with scripts like “swan dive or cannonball?”, the line will include mix-and-match separates like bow-adorned bandeau tops, high-waist bottoms and one pieces.

Founded in 1993, Kate Spade specializes in home textiles, and men’s and women’s fashion and sleepwear clothing.

Established in 1998, Swimwear Anywhere designs, manufactures and markets an extensive portfolio of swimwear brands and holds the swimwear licenses for designer labels such as Juicy Couture, DKNY, Michael Kors, Carmen Marc Valvo, Vince Camuto and Tommy Hilfiger.

Swimwear Anywhere has recently formed another swimsuit licensing partnership with the New York-based women’s ready-to-wear brand Proenza Schouler. The 20-piece line is due to go on sale from October 2014.
