The historic China-Britain Fashion Alliance has been launched by the British Fashion Council (BFC), in alliance with the China-Britain Business Council (CBBC) and the Beijing International Brand Management Centre (BIBMC).

The project is expected to bring a lot of British fashion designers into China, as it will increase cooperation and exchanges between the Chinese and British fashion industries, including through fashion shows.

The Fashion Alliance will promote British fashion in China and present a forum for regular dialogue and exchange of views at senior levels. It will, in a way, provide strategic guidance to the development of fashion in China.

Harold Tillman, Chairman of the British Fashion Council said that China is a country with a lot of opportunities and its people appreciate the creative fashion designs from London and the United Kingdom.
