The British Fashion Council launch their first nationwide search for emerging film-making talent, as part of their Fash/On Film initiative sponsored by River Island, inviting up-and-coming directors to submit film ideas in response to a brief set by leading British designer Emilio de la Morena in conjunction with Fash/On Film. The film will showcase Emilio's pre-spring 2013 collection.
One filmmaker will be selected to receive professional support and mentoring through the production process, offering a unique opportunity to gain insight into and experience of the fashion film industry.
This film will be shown at London Fashion Week September 2012, creating a prestigious launch pad into the fashion and film industry.
The deadline for applications is Friday 6th July 2012.
