The Greek designer took a different route, focusing on keeping her Indian infused Greek draping styles subdued, with more attention on fine detailing such as embellishments and prints.
Using rich ethereal fabrics such as velvets, organic cottons and georgettes, the designs revealed a jewel toned colour palette fit for royalty.
The show presented an array of pieces ranging from flirty 40’s inspired dresses, to feminine sexy gowns, sleek pants, flared tops in shades such as deep purple, ivy green, mustard, black and cherry red. The pieces sported gold streak graphic prints, coloured collars as well as bejewelled accents.
With a mix of straight as well as flare silhouettes the designer infused a refreshing mix by playing with lightly structured drapes embellished by gemstones at the waist for a feminine, regal appeal.
The epitome of elegance and poise, this collection was worth its weight in gold. Hair and makeup done by Lakmé Salon experts focused on makeup trends that used extended lack liner and soft nude lips.
