This award is to recognize an individual who most embodies the spirit of London and is an international ambassador for London as a leading creative fashion capital.
The British Style Award is based on the success of the London 25 Award, introduced in 2009 as part of the BFC’s 25th anniversary celebrations and awarded to Kate Moss. The award is decided entirely by public vote and a list of nominees has been complied by a panel of key industry opinion formers. The nominees this year include Cara Delevingne, David Gandy, Florence Welch, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Tinie Tempah and Victoria Beckham.
Voting is open from the 3rd September until 31st October 2012 and the winner will be announced at the British Fashion Awards on the 27th November 2012. Members of the public are invited to vote through the British Fashion Awards website and voters will be entered into a prize draw to win two tickets to attend the British Fashion Awards ceremony.
The British Fashion Awards recognize the most influential people in fashion today and will celebrate the excellence in British fashion through awards such as Designer of the Year, Designer Brand, Accessory Designer, Menswear Designer and three Emerging Talent Award’s which recognize designers as they establish their fashion businesses. Other awards that will be presented on the night include Outstanding Achievement in Fashion, Model and the Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator.
