Inspired by the wonderful stylish days of the 1920s, the look was cute, flirty and frothy as the models glided down the catwalk. Staying true to her favourite colours – milky and very dreamy – Rehane brought in more opulent creations as the show progressed.
There was intense detailing with 3D appliqués as well as ruffles for the layered asymmetric creations. Striped inner minis played an important role in creating a tantalising effect under the net shifts; while tiny fabric baubles on shoulders, necklines and hem added a flirty touch.
The dramatic gold cape over a muddy brown mini, the peach georgette layered cute dress; the multi striped petticoat under a net cover gave party wear a creative fashion direction. Perky tie-up embroidered belts added to the cinched waists of some of tulle outfits.
The solitary satin cropped pants with silver hemline, the dainty umbrella shaped skirt dresses and the two net saris in pink and acid green over embroidered petticoats showed the diverse avenues of Rehane’s creativity.
The gorgeous gold and beige net floor kissing Anarkalis with lush floral embroidery were part of a regal ethnic line. The final orange with silver velvet drawstring long sheath was a grand end to a collection that spelt opulence right through.
For the woman who revels in her feminine charms and beauty, Rehane’s collection will win her many compliments.
