Megha Garg showcased a range which was nothing short of astounding at the Talent Box for her Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2013 collection.

Inspired not by a religious figure, but the person - a beautiful human-being perfect in every way, the collection called “Krishna” celebrated the spirit within each woman and a certain pride in how she would like to look her best.

In a combination of alluring materials such as flat chiffon, jerseys, silk and satin, the designer made sure to keep each piece special, thus allowing for an individualistic streak.

Vivid as though pulled out of a dream, colours such as pop pink, grass green, lemon yellow, blue, grey along with red and earthy tones helped balance out this range.

Focusing on detailing, the designer embellished each piece with metal fittings as well as "jumping" sequins and dyed feathers delicately filled into tiny fabric pockets for the draped dresses, shirts and gowns.

What’s more, the designer presented gorgeous avant-garde shoes as well as armour-like jewellery.

Moving away from convention, Megha selected singer, actor, dancer, Meiyang Chang as the showstopper for the all women’s wear collection. Meiyang looked dashing in a zippered velvet dark blue waistcoat, multicoloured shirt, ink blue trousers and golden Oxfords.

Trendy and sassy, Megha Garg’s ‘Krishna’ will have the buyers charmed with its unique combination of print with textures and colours.
