Khem the label by designer duo Khushboo Agarwal  and Prem Kumar presented Monoxious: The Magic of light' for their Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2013 at the Talent Box.

The collection was inspired by the play of light and dark on fabric to create an illusion as well as to sculpt the body, thus to better direct and channel beauty of both a light and dark perspective.

Working with fabrics such as georgettes, nylon nets and satins as well as silk, the designers worked with fluid, free flowing forms and created an alluring and dramatic range of dresses, both gown-like as well as club chic.

Sticking to shades such as black, white with pops of tones like blue and gold; each piece was sculpted into a three dimensional look with pleats, panels, elaborate ‘fish  line’ embroidery and zari work.

Silver accents added glamour while sequins and thread worked to add richness to the fabrics.

Dip dyed and styled with Indian aesthetics in mind, Prem Kumar and Khushboo Agarwal’s luxurious collection is sure to make an impact in India and internationally.
