Astha Narang made a stunning impression with her Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2013 collection called “Fold ‘em” inspired from the artwork of Goran Konjevod  at the Talent Box.

Using her concept to sculpt and accentuate the body, the designer worked with interesting fabrics such as organza as well as sheer materials for a sensual flirty appeal.

Staying within a surreal-futuristic concept, Astha aimed to create the illusion of movement with fabric, thus enveloping each body in such a way as though to appear connected.

Fluid in breathtaking shades such as marine blue, olive green, charcoal brown, lavender, and grey this range strived to be as out of the box as it was wearable.

Mermaid-like and yet structured, the range comprised skirts, dresses, gowns, shorts and shirts making it the ideal package for the season. The show stopper was none other than celebrity beauty Gauhar Khan who wore a luxurious gown with subtly accentuated shoulders.

Astha Narang’s collection was a delightful exercise in construction which is sure to dazzle any fashionista!
