Jatin Varna's line turns models into tantalizing eves

For women who want to dress in the most seductive, sensual, manner, Jatin Varna’s collection titled “From Eden to Paradise” at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2013 will turn them into tantalizing Eves.

Combining his skills in construction, Jatin worked on structure and soft fluidity for an exclusive Red Carpet collection. The colour card was perfectly eye-catching with red, pink, purple and cobalt blue being the ideal base for the exquisite gowns in nylon mesh with intricate crochet binding. The embellishments were cleverly intertwined to evoke the inspiration of Paradise.

Dividing the collection in four colours, Jatin opened with the shocking pink line of utterly amazing gowns followed by the cobalt blue, red and purple. The construction of the long maxis defied imagination as swirling curves, spirals, bows and abstract forms appeared on the bodices of the ensembles. Wired, rigid and moulded to the body in op art shapes, the designer’s creativity was totally out of box with transparency being the focal point of the creations.

Adding some sexy corsets, which flowed into sheer layered curved skirts - some of which had a marked Parisian look - the side layered peplums with sheer trails were sensuous. A dash of fringes and tassels on necklines, some textured stockings under transparent skirts or slashed leggings peeped through the nylon mesh to reveal a seductive touch.

The jauntily positioned black head gear in nylon mesh gave that perfect stylish touch to the show.

It was pure fantasy on the ramp as romantically, fragile, dreamy creations by Jatin Varma enchanted the ladies in the audience who longed to get lost in the designer’s “Eden to Paradise”.
